Vicki Terlap, Head Coach
This is Vicki Terlap's third year as the head coach of Appleton West-Kimberly Boys Swimming and Diving. She was also the head coach of AW-K Girls Swimming and Diving from 2015-2018. In addition to coaching at AW-K, Coach Vicki runs a summer swim club from June through August, where she works with college and high school swimmers from around the Fox Cities. Prior to coaching for AW-K, Coach Vicki spent four years as an assistant swim coach at Neenah High School. She was also the head coach of Blue Phoenix Swim Club and an assistant coach for Snoxfox Aquatics. Vicki is a graduate of University of Illinois, where she earned both her B.A and M.S. degrees. She is currently working on a second master's degree in Professional Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Vicki has been married to John for 26 years and she has 3 kids, Emily, Maddie, and Jack.

Emily Terlap, Assistant Coach
This is Emily's first season as Assistant Coach for Appleton West-Kimberly Boy's Swimming and Diving. She has been on deck for both the girls and boys seasons over the past 3 years and has coached Big Pigeons Swim Club for the past four summers. She graduated from UW-Madison in May with a degree in Biology and is currently completing her first semester in the online Master of Public Health program through the University of Arizona. Emily also works full-time at the Community Blood Center as a Blood Donor Technician. She is excited to coach the boys team this season and looks forward to watching the boys succeed!
Hailey Mattingly, Assistant Coach
This is Hailey's first season as Assistant Coach for Appleton West-Kimberly's Boys Swimming and Diving. Last year, Hailey did a fantastic job as the Intern for the AW-K GIrl's team. Hailey began swimming competitively for the Fox Valley Wave when she was 10 years old. She began teaching swimming lessons at the Heart of the Valley YMCA when she was a sophomore in high school and became a lifeguard one year later. Hailey taught lessons for almost 5 years before coaching for the Fox Valley Wave. She is currently working to complete a degree in web design at Fox Valley Tech.
Mike Schuelke, Appleton-Kimberly Dive Coach
Mike has spent over 45 years coaching swimming and diving. He started coaching in Florida and then spent 27 years as the head coach at Neenah High School. This is Mike's 4th year coaching diving in Appleton. He was named Wisconsin Diving Coach of the year in 2016. In addition to coaching, Mike was a Physical Education teacher in Neenah for 27 years. He retired 9 years ago. Mike has been married to Sue for 44 years, and he has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Mike is the WISCA Boys State Delegate and the NISCA National Records and Archives Chair.

Malena Waters, Intern
Malena graduated from Neenah High School in 2015, swam all four years, and managed the boys team for two years. After graduation, she swam at UW-La Crosse for a year and then switched to managing for a year due to injury. This year she is interning at St. Elizabeth in their Medical Lab Science program to finish up her schooling with UWL and earn a BS in Clinical Lab Science. This fall, Malena coached the Neenah girls’ team. She has been involved with the program in the past, but this was her first year coaching for them full-time. She is beyond excited to start her first season as a boys coach and to learn from the fabulous AW-K coaching staff!
